Soggy here. Cyclone Alfred, who dithered a lot before he finally turned up (after changing his identity to a tropical low) has rained and rained and rained. What he lacks in bluster, he makes up for in volume of water.

My launch events have all been postponed or cancelled.

Was having a nervy turn but take comfort from readers sending photos of The Bluff in bookshops, on airport concourses, and even on a sunny beach in Victoria.
